Born in year 1976, Martin Huber grew up in Switzerland. He is winner of several competitions and scholarships. Martin Huber lives in Zurich, mostly freelancing, intensively playing chambermusic. His appearances include Tonhalle Zurich, Tonhalle St.Gallen, Casino Basel, KKL Lucerne, Izumi Hall Osaka-Japan, Tokyo Opera City-Japan, Sala Sao Paulo-Brasil, Teatro Colon-Argentina and many more.

Martin Huber is devoted to the creation of new works and therefore commissions regularly new works from numerous composers. Recent commissions are such of Rodolphe Schacher, David-Philip Hefti, Felix Schüeli, Malaysian composer Kee-Yong Chong and Argentinian composer Cecilia Arditto, which have been premiered on the occasion of numerous tours in the US, Southamerica or in Europe.

In addition, Martin Huber is a highly demanded orchestra-musician who plays regularly in several professional orchestras.
